A CHOICE OF CASH HANDLING SOLUTIONS
SCAN COIN supplies a wide range of cash handling equipment from driver cash depositing systems to coin and note counters, ticket vending machines and change givers. The company offers the choice of stand-alone machines or fully integrated cash processing solutions from cash depositing to packaged coins ready for banking.

In the late 1980s, SCAN COIN pioneered the introduction of automated driver cash depositing. Since then, the company has develop a range of equipment to provide operators with a choice of solutions. This extends from the sophisticated CDP4 to the smaller CDS830, a modular system designed for operators with a smaller throughput. Both systems incorporate SCAN COIN’s advanced coin recognition technology, which checks the electrical as well as physical characteristics of coins to ensure a high degree of accuracy. They also share the same core SCAN COIN software for the driver interface and for cash management and reporting functions. This ensures uniformity across the customer’s network and integration with back office systems.

The CDP4 is suitable for stand-alone or through-the-wall installation and can be networked using the Windows operating system to provide full and seamless integration. Separate coin and note modules have increased the machines versatility and the option of a bundled note acceptor improves productivity even further

For operators handling smaller volumes of cash, the CDS 830 is a versatile alternative to the CDP4. By selecting specific modules and optional features, operators can configure a machine to suit their precise needs. They have the freedom to up-grade and expand the system at any time as their requirements change.

Cash deposit machines in different locations can now be monitored remotely from a central location using SCAN COIN's new 'Connect CDP' software system. It makes it easier to manage machines on different sites and ensures that they are always running properly and ready for use.
