MCV Bus and Coach Limited work in close partnership with its chassis suppliers MAN, Alexander Dennis and more recently VDL through its UK Distributor Arriva Bus and Coach at Cleckheaton near Leeds. With its partners MCV can provide a wide range of body options from a 28 seater 9.8 metre up to a 44 seater 11.9 metre with two door flexibility and the complex specification demanded by Transport for London all available from its Sutton in Cambridgeshire factory.

All body structures are all welded jig framed stainless steel sections with aluminium and G.R.P body panels. Acceptable and recognized components make up the body finishing including Rowan Telmac Seating, Hanover L.E.D Destination Equipment, Hella exterior lighting, Invertec interior lighting, Clayton saloon heating, Altro floor covering and wooden flooring purchased from Whittle Flooring.

Various options are available including LOOK CCTV systems, Sutrak Air Conditioning, Eberspacher or Webasto heating, Percy Lane driver assault screens to name but a few.

With MCV products now being operated throughout the UK special focus have been made on providing technical support and spare parts for its range of bodies. Technical support is provided direct from its Sutton factory along with a team of mobile engineers to assist operators with problem solving and technical training if required.

Body parts including glass are available in partnership with Carlyle parts who hold a stock of MCV parts both at their central warehouse in West Bromich, near Birmingham and their regional centres in London, Bristol, Glasgow and Manchester supported by regular van deliveries made from these centres to local MCV customers.

Accident repairs are regularly carried out on a variety of bus and coach bodyworks not just MCV product from their Sutton factory by a skilled team of body builders

Bodywork refurbishment is a major part of MCV’s business where double deck, single deck and coach bodies are refurbished to the highest standard of quality with a level of Transport for London operators using this facility.

Door conversions, seating configurations and even open top conversions for double decks are also handled by our refurbishment team.

As part of the MCV growth strategy other exciting products are planned for introduction towards the end of 2009 putting MCV in a strong position to compete in 2010 and beyond.
