Foxwood Diesel (formerly known as Foxwood Boring & Grinding Ltd) was founded in May 1988.
The original focus of the company was to service the municipal and National Bus companies, providing items such as cylinder heads, block & crankshafts, alongside serving many local machining companies. In recent times the focus has expanded in order to serve the local market and is also now an official Cummins Dealer.

In 2003, the company changed its name to Foxwood Diesel in order to reflect its target market, after the decision was made to expand its services by building complete Diesel engines for the Bus, Coach, Construction, Truck & plant industries.

The company can now be said to boast one of the best-equipped workshops in the local area.
