Family business PL Trim was established in Blackpool in 1993 on an industrial estate just off Chapel Road before relocating in 2003 to a purpose-built unit on the old Duple coachbuilders site off Burton Road in Blackpool.
The business was originally formed to supply the automotive industry with interior services ranging from drivers’ seats and passenger seats to complete interior soft trim. Experiencing much success in this field the company went on to increase its offering to a range of diverse markets.
All its work is undertaken by highly-skilled craftsmen who give due care and attention to detail whether working on the most basic of same-day repairs, or the most comprehensive vehicle retrim. With a customer base ranging from single-vehicle preservation projects to local authorities with hundreds of vehicles, the company also caters to the general public for any type of trim work.
It says its experience over the years helps it to understand its customers’ needs. It provides cost-effective solutions to a wealth of new features and options for interior retrims. Everything is individually hand made ‘in house’ to meet the customer and vehicle specifications.
